Tentative Bookings

We are happy to hold a provisional date for you for up to 14 days without requiring any deposit.

Chapel or Garden Ceremonies

One hour immediately before your reception is available for your ceremony.  You can then use the gardens for photographs while your guests enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

Timing

Evening Receptions are five hours in duration. Your reception commences from the time drinks and canapes are served.  Luncheon Receptions are four hours in duration.  Low season weddings in June / July / August receive an additional half hour for no charge.

Time extensions may be arranged – including beverage & waiter service at $4.40 per adult per ½ hour. Cocktail weddings may be extended at $120 per ½ hour plus drinks consumed.

Exclusive use

Exclusive use of the venue is available – ensuring you are the only bride and groom on site, giving you sole use of the entire property.

Children

Children under 12 years of age are $25 and can be offered a soup, fish & chips or nuggets & chips, followed by a frog in a pond or icecream with chocolate sauce.

Teenagers are $8 less than the applicable adult rate.

Music for your Ceremony 

We can arrange an Organist or you may bring in musicians, CDs, an iPod or tapes if you prefer. We are able to provide a CD player both in the Chapel and the gardens.

Music for your Reception

We can recommend bands from 2 to 5 piece, or professional DJs.

Working Guests

Meals for your band members / DJ / photographer / videographer can be provided at a reasonable price to you (1 course $25, 2 courses $28, 3 course $30).

Table Decorations

Floral arrangements are provided for your bridal table and remain the property of the venue. Decorated oil burners, candelabra or various vased flower arrangements are available for the guest tables at no additional cost.

Confetti

The use of confetti or rice is not permitted. We suggest rose petals as a great alternative. Please note they are only to be used outside the buildings.

Deposit to confirm a Booking

Your booking is confirmed with the payment of a $500 deposit and the signing / returning of our Wedding Contract.  A further $500 deposit is required 6 months prior to the wedding date.  Deposits are not refundable unless more than 6 months written notice of cancellation is provided, and the date & room is re-booked for a function of at least the same or greater value.

Final Arrangements

These will be made by appointment 1-2 months prior to your reception. Final numbers and payment are required ten working days prior to your wedding date.

Guest accommodation

There are several options located nearby, including a four star apartment-style hotel complex that can arrange transport to & from the Chateau – ideal if you have interstate or overseas guests.  We would be pleased to discuss your requirements further.

Wedding Coordinators

We can assist you plan your big day and suggest related wedding suppliers – and of course ensure dedicated coordinators look after you all the time you are with us for your wedding and reception.  You will be impressed with our professionalism and flexibility – as well as the attention to detail necessary to ensure your wedding is precisely how you want it to be.
