Buffet Style Wedding Reception Packages

Two sit down buffets are available – one where guests serve themselves mains and desserts from a central buffet, the other where a range of mains and dessert dishes are served to each table.  All other inclusions are the same as for the Melba Package.

The reception commences with waitresses serving a variety of hot and cold canapes in the predinner drinks area.  Guests are then seated in the reception room and provided a three course meal.  Beverages are included.

  • Macerated berries, served with Chantilly cream (#)
  • Individual pavlova with double cream, seasonal fruit & passionfruit coulis (#)
  • Lemon meringue pie OR sour cherry & almond tart (please select one)
  • Sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce
  • Cheesecake served in your choice of flavour – lemon; butterscotch; cookies & cream or Bailey’s – all served with chocolate shavings & double cream (please select one)
  • Chocolate mousse in a chocolate biscuit cup (*)
  • Gelati bar – accompaniments of fruit coulis, honeycomb & smashed meringue (#)
  • Your wedding cake on the buffet

…followed by tea & coffee 

WYUNA PACKAGE:  Individual Table Buffet

Priced the same as traditional sit down receptions (ie the Melba Package)


In the predinner drinks area your guests will be greeted by our staff and offered ONE of the following ‘standing’ entree options.  You therefore need to preselect one of the following:

  • Honey soy chicken served over our delicious tasting fried rice
  • Bite sized pieces of tempura fish served with hand cut fries and a lemon wedge
  • Chargrilled lemon pepper calamari with a roquette salad (#)
  • Thai beef salad with cherry tomatoes and coriander & lime dressing (#)
  • Spinach & potato gnocchi, served with one of the following sauces: white wine & wild mushroom (#), house made basil pesto (# v), creamed spinach (#) or napoli (# v)


Once your guests have been seated in the reception room and the bridal party introduced, a table buffet will be provided to each table – providing your guests with a selection to choose from without leaving their seat.

You need to preselect THREE of the following dishes. 

  • Juicy chicken breast pieces, lightly crusted with macadamia nuts & served with a savoury sauce
  • Lemon & parmesan crusted chicken tenderloins, served with aioli
  • Pan-fried fish pieces, served with a lemon butter & caper sauce (#)
  • Tender eye fillet pieces, cooked medium & served on wilted greens (please choose one sauce) mushroom sauce (*), green peppercorn sauce (*), garlic butter (#) or red wine jus (*)
  • Mini pork steaks braised in an apple cider and served with an apple reduction (#)
  • Tender lamb fillet pieces with a Tuscan mix & rosemary jus (#)
  • Seared marinated lamb rump slices on Moroccan spiced chickpea cous cous

Mains are accompanied by rosemary & garlic potatoes and one of the following shared platters of side dishes.

  • Mixed garden salad – lettuce, tomato, cucumber & a vinaigrette dressing (#)
  • Waldorf salad – lettuce, apples, celery, walnuts with mayonnaise (#)
  • Chunky Greek salad – lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta & Kalamata olives (#)
  • Roasted seasonal vegetables (#)
  • Mediterranean mixed vegetables (#)
  • Mixed Asian vegetables (#)


Followed by your selection of THREE desserts served to each table

  • Individual pavlova, served with cream and passionfruit curd (#)
  • Individual lemon meringue pie
  • Sour cherry & frangipane tartlet, served with Chantilly cream
  • French apple tartlet, served with caramelised apple & crème patissiere
  • Cheesecake served with chocolate shavings & double cream (please select 1 flavour) Lemon, butterscotch, cookies & cream or Bailey’s
  • House-made chocolate mousse in a shortbread shell, served with berry coulis (*)
  • Decadently rich chocolate brownie, served with cream & crushed honeycomb
